Russia is demonstrating that it is losing control of the situation and continues to instigating the situation on the eve of the so-called “Victory Day”. On the one hand, the Russian Ministry of Defense independently declares a ceasefire for the duration of the “Parade” (which will take place in Moscow without equipment), and on the other, it directly threatens to strike the capital of Ukraine. The Russian authorities are so distrustful of their air defense and military capabilities that they are afraid of sabotage by their own citizens and leave them without mobile Internet. We are understanding what is behind the latest statements and actions of the aggressor country.
“Peace initiatives” against the backdrop of blackmail
According to Russian sources , Putin has allegedly decided to declare a “ceasefire” from May 8 to 9 in connection with the holidays. However, these statements look like a classic information and psychological operation (IPSO), as they are accompanied by unprecedented threats against Ukraine.
So, from this same statement it follows that in the event of a “disruption” of the May 9 parade in Moscow, a massive missile strike will be launched on Kyiv.
“We warn the civilian population of Kyiv and employees of foreign diplomatic missions of the need to leave the city in a timely manner,” the Russian Ministry of Defense statement reads .
What was the response in Kyiv?

President V. Zelenskyy, in his post on the official TG channel, stated that to date, there has been no official appeal to Ukraine regarding the modalities of the cessation of hostilities, as was stated on Russian social networks.
Instead, the president emphasized that human life is of incomparably greater value than the “celebration” of any anniversary. In connection with this, he independently announced a regime of silence on the Ukrainian side, starting at 00:00 on the night of May 5-6. And in the event of a disruption, he announced a mirror response.
“ It is time for Russian leaders to take real steps to end their war, if the Russian Defense Ministry believes that it will not hold a parade in Moscow without the goodwill of Ukraine. ” — Zelensky
Air defense in the Kremlin and 5 days without mobile internet

While propaganda talks about the “greatness of the Russian Federation” and “successes on the front,” the realities in Moscow itself indicate total paranoia on the part of the authorities. Due to fear of possible drone attacks and sabotage, mobile internet is being completely turned off in Moscow and St. Petersburg for 5 days, and mobile air defense groups with automatic weapons are already visible on the Kremlin towers .

According to the message above from the Russian operator, the restrictions are being introduced “for security reasons” during mass events.
Conclusions
The latest news vividly demonstrates the weakness and hysteria of the Kremlin regime. Threats of “strikes on Kyiv” and announcements of a “ceasefire for the duration of the parade” are designed to distract attention from the main thing: the Russian authorities are afraid to hold a parade on May 9, even in their own capital. Shutting down the Internet in Moscow and St. Petersburg for 5 whole days is an unprecedented step that proves that they are afraid not only of foreigners, but also of their own dissatisfied citizens. The myth of Russia’s “security” has been completely destroyed.
