What is National Cashback and how does it work?

“National Cashback” is a state program to support Ukrainian manufacturers. You buy goods registered in the program (products of such manufacturers are often, but not always, marked with a sign like in the photo above), pay cashlessly with a card in participating stores – and the state returns part of the money to you the following month.
- 5% – for goods where Ukrainian producers already occupy a large market share.
- 15% – for categories where there is strong competition from imports.
Cashback is credited the next day and paid out by the end of the following month. The money is credited to a special account at Diya and cannot be withdrawn in cash .
National Cashback 2026 works only for individuals over 18 years of age and is not available to children or teenagers, even if they have a junior card at the bank or a passport after reaching the age of 16. Businesses and condominiums do not participate, therefore they do not receive funds when purchasing goods under the National Cashback.
