August in Lviv is traditionally a special time of the end of the summer gestalt and the transition to the autumn season. How to prepare for the August weather in Lviv?
Given the temperature swings you see in our table above, residents and visitors of the city of Lviv should be prepared for different scenarios:
For the end of the month: Evening walks around the city will require warmer clothing. A light jacket, cardigan, or sweatshirt will be a must to avoid catching a cold, as the temperature will drop rapidly after sunset.
