So, heating in the city of Lviv is turned on provided that the average daily air temperature for the last 3 days did not exceed +8 degrees Celsius , and the weather forecast further predicts an even more gradual decrease in temperature . Usually this is mid-October, early November, the benchmark is October 15-30, 2026, it is planned to launch heating and start the 2026-2027 heating season in Lviv.
What is the heating connection queue in Lviv?
First of all (approximately the beginning of October), heat is supplied to provide social infrastructure facilities: hospitals, kindergartens, and schools.
In the second place (when the average daily temperature remains stable at no higher than +8 degrees), residents of apartment buildings receive heat.
In the third stage (when the first two stages are connected), heating is supplied to business facilities (commercial premises), retail spaces, and administrative institutions.
Who is responsible for heating in Lviv homes?
The Lviv Teploenergo Energy and Power Company is responsible for the heating network in Lviv. It is they who prepare it for launch, check the condition of the equipment and let heat into the homes of Lviv residents by order of Mayor A. Sadovy . The Lviv branch of LLC “Gas Distribution Networks of Ukraine” controls and is responsible for unlocking the seals . The heating season itself as a process is supervised and checked by the Lviv City Council .
